Kids with ADHD Have Writing Problems

According to a new study, Kids who have attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder are more probable to have writing problems like poor spelling and grammar than their peers.
Writing is an important ability for academic success, social and behavioral well-being. And if writing problems aren't addressed at an early stage in kids with ADHD, they can suffer long in their later life.
"Nearly 10% of kids ages 4 to 17 in the US have ever been diagnosed with ADHD, a number that has been on the rise in recent years," claims the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Problems related to memory and planning in kids with ADHD may have an effect on the writing process. Many kids with the disorder seem to have difficulty with a particular component of writing.
