Two sisters aged 12 and 10 were arrested by Oklahoma police for the alleged abduction of 1 year-old Brandon.
The two siblings arrested are accused of sneaking into the house of Sheila Wells, the mother of the infant, around 5:30 am and leaving a ransom note demanding $200,000 for the safe return of Brandon.
The girls said that they found the toddler on the corner, when their mother saw them with the child. The 12 year-old sister then confessed to their mother that it was the 10 year-old's idea to take Brandon when their mother tried to call the toddler's mother.
Sheila Wells said that the possible motive behind the abduction was that the 10 year-old might have been upset with her when she banned her from their house due to a behavior that she did not like.
The girls appeared in the garfield County District Court and then taken to the Community Intervention Center for juveniles.
The haven't been formally charged but Sheila Wells believes that "they should be locked away until they're 18".

I think it was Sheila's act of scolding the girl abruptly and barring her from come to her place that nade the girl go to the extent of kinapping the baby to avenge her humiliation. that is not the right way to deal with kids. what do u say?

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. Scolding a kid and telling them not to come into your home is no excuse for kidnapping your 1 year old.
What the kids apparently need is a little more discipline from their own parents. I wouldn't want either of them anywhere near my house either.

I know that my 11 yo and 9 yo would know that it was wrong to do. But then there are some children that are just not that wise.
