A Baby Named Metallica
Well, the baby will only be named metallica if Karolina and Michael Tomaro wins the fight against the Swedish National Tax Board.
The Tomaro couple are fighting a legal battle for the right to name their now 6-month old daughter (yes, it has been going on since her birth) "Metallica". According to the mother, the name suits their daughter because she is "decisive and she knows what she wants." Riiighhhtt… Decisive = Metallica? A decisive 6-month old? That should go great in court.
At least, to their credit, the Tomaros have also cited the fact that another woman has Metallica as middle name.
Actually, the Goteborg County Administrative Court already decided for them but the Tax Board — which initially reject the name — has vowed to appeal the case.

whhaaaattt? if celebrities can name their kids with whatever they want, why can’t this couple? double standard. albeit i don’t agree with a 6 month old being decisive, they should be able to name their kids with anything. it might be stupid but dammit, they’re the parents.
