Imagine this city as your classroom. Learn practical knowledge from people who actually have first-hand experience. No grades no graduation.

The Shibuya University Network is a practical, community-based, continuing education for everybody. It's not the typical university, where at the end of the Semester, your Professor assesses your knowledge and gives you a grade based on how much you've learned. It's not a real University, because you are not granted an Academic degree after finishing. Rather learning from the school of hard knocks.

This university should not replace the formal education that we get from universities and colleges. But it is a good pathway for those who already have a degree to learn something new for a career change or learn from the community you live in or the place that you're most fond of. It also benefits the young one's who still haven't decided on what they'll do in the future. Learn from professionals and find out if you really are meant for the careers that you're aiming for.

Good idea, eh. I think every state should think about setting up something like this in their cities.
