The next chapter of the Anna Nicole Smith tragic story continues...

It has been reported by CNN that Anna Nicole Smith has named son, Daniel, who died last September, as her sole beneficiary. 5-month-old daughter Dannielyn was not mentioned in the will.

"Court TV anchor Lisa Bloom said the will's language appears to exclude Dannielynn from any inheritance. However, Bloom said, the fact that there is no living heir means that a court battle over the estate is virtually guaranteed."

It's such a big mess with so many people (husband, lovers and mother) trying to get the custody of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter, Dannielynn. With all the claims, it really makes you wonder which (IF any) of the claimants is really concerned about Dannielynn's future and who has a real altruistic reason for coming forward. With the big amount of money involved US$88 million or more (plus the longstanding claim to the fortune of Smith's late husband, Texas oil baron J. Howard Marshall II), it's difficult to believe that none of them are actually after the "possibility" of getting their hands on all that money.

Whatever the result of the DNA test is, I really hope that whoever gets the custody of Dannielynn would have her best interest at heart. Otherwise, Anna Nicole Smith's tragic life story may extend up to her daughter's future.
