Attachment Parenting

I do believe in establishing a strong emotional bond with my children. I breastfed my oldest son and am currently breastfeeding my second son. I try to avoid prolonged separation with my kids, unless necessary. My husband and I still enjoy co-sleeping with our 2 kids.

However, the parents on this video just took attachment parenting way too much, imo.

    I saw this on 60 Minutes and hubby and I were just slightly…aghast. I also saw an episode of Wife Swap where the “mother” wouldn’t let one of the kids use a pencil without supervision for fear he’d poke himself in the eye (this kid must have been school age at least). She also wouldn’t let him hold a knife to cut his dinner. Talk about taking things a little too far…

    Wow! That was quite a video. I am a believer in Attachment Parenting. I wear my baby in a Mei Tai, I shop at http://www.all-natural-mommies.com
