My 3-year old son and I had a great time playing with his dinosaurs and knights earlier this evening. He was so satisfied with our playtime that, after which, he willingly came with me to prepare for bed.
When we got to the bedroom, however, I noticed that I still needed to help him wind down. Otherwise, he wouldn't have been able to sleep. I do not know why but for some reason, I suggested giving him a massage. A first for both of us. He agreed and with a smile on his face, he immediately fell asleep soon after.
Had I only know how effective a massage would be to calm him down, I would have started long ago!

It makes perfect sense that if it feels so very good to us, it would feel good to the youg ones too. I can't think of anything more relaxing than a good massage.
