Baby Showers
What better way to share the good news and welcome a new life into this world than to organize a baby shower. Baby showers are normally held during the third trimester of the pregnancy. More often than not, it's organized by the mother-to-be's sister or friends.
IMO, throwing a shower would give the parents time enough to organize all the gifts that they receive and base their purchases on what they might still need. So, do inform the parents-to-be of your plans. However, if they have already gone baby shopping, make sure that you also create a gift registry.
