Back to School Sales Tax Break in Florida
The Florida Legislature has approved the back-to-school sales tax break for 2007. Now, if Gov. Charlie Crist signs this, parents of school-age kids in Florida will definitely be rejoicing.

The proposed tax (state and local sales) break will run for 10 days, from the 4th of August until the 13th.

So what can we expect if this bill is signed? What exactly can we buy cheaper?

Books, Clothes, Shoes, Wallets and Bags that costs around $50 or less will not be taxed. Same applies for OTHER school supplies (paper, pens, I assume) that costs around $10 or less.

Since it was a unanimous decision when the bill was passed by the House, Gov. Crist should have no problem signing this. I hope.
