You need not join Greenpeace or become an activist. You can do something as simple as:

• Rather than use plastic, bring a bag when you go shopping for food.
• Dispose of your rubbish properly. And while you are at it, teach your child to do the same>
• Use environmentally friendly cleaning products at home. It might even help prevent skin rashes, if your child has sensitive skin
• Conserve Water
• switch off your TV when not in use
• take a walk in the forest with your kids and teach them how to conserve biodiversity in their own little way
