Two Connetquot High School students were arrested yesterday for an alleged plot against their school that they planned to pull-off on the 9th anniversary of the columbine attacks.
The thwarted attack was discovered when the journal of the 15 year-old suspect was given to school authorities after he dropped it in a McDonald's parking lot where he and the other suspect worked.
Authorities found out later that the 15 year-old teen, assumed to be the mastermind, tried to buy 5 lbs of explosive powder and an Uzi machine gun.
The 15 year-old mastermind appeared in the juvenile court yesterday, did not enter a plea. While the other suspect, 17 year-old Michael McDonough pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned yesterday.

Do you think it was the Uzi machine gun that gave them away?
