Buffalo Milk Against Eczema

In Italy, buffalo milk is the traditional milk used in making mozarella, did you know that buffalo milk (specifically that from Asian water buffalos) are being marketed as a possible alternative for those with allergic reactions to cow's milk… in Britain?! Having spent my childhood in Asia, I am familiar with water buffalo milk. I actually find it more pleasant than cow's milk, but have never considered that it may be a healthier alternative to the more ubiquitous cow's milk.
Nick's customers are not just drinking buffalo milk because it tastes good; eczema suffers drink it to help cure their skin complaints.
It appears to help those suffering from irritable bowel syndrome too.
Those with allergies, or a lactose intolerance, are finding it an agreeable change from goats' milk.
If your children suffer from lactose intolerance and eczema, it may be worth a try sourcing out buffalo milk. For those with true allergies to cow's milk, though, I guess buffalo milk would be similar to goat milk in terms of allergic cross-reactivity: a suitable alternative for some, but not for all.

More easy to find is RAW cow’s or goat’s milk. These animals should be raised organically on green grass. It is the pasteurized (dead) milk of animals raised in confinement that makes people suffer from all kinds of allergies, lactose intolerance, irritable bowel etc. I would guess that if the water buffalo’s milk were not pasteurized they would have even better success than they are! The buffalos are possibly raised a little bit better than our animals are here. Raw milk is safe when it comes from a well animal and the conditions are sanitary. Raw milk is a cure for many things and has been for centuries. Only when they started pasteurizing it did it lose that ability. Think about it-human mother’s milk is raw.
