Celebrating 4th of July With Your Kids
On the 4th of July, America will be celebrating Independence Day. This is, imo, the perfect time to instill a little patriotic pride in your children as the country commemorates the assumption of independent statehood. The birth of the United States as a nation.
And after that short lesson, then it is time for FUN!
Before you head out, why not have fun with your child for some home-made 4th of July crafts. Bring the finished product with you as you take to the streets and watch the parade and the fireworks in Washington D.C. Or, you can take part in the Boston Harborfest as they celebrate 4th of July with a showcase of the colonial and maritime heritage of Historic Boston.
