Being a parent has lots of rewards. However, there are moments when I feel a lot older than I really am. And as much as I love my child, I sometimes long for more moments alone with my husband. I crave for times when we could do things together which got us together in the first place, minus the attention-seeking toddler.
I would have to say that -- to some degree -- Baby makes conflict.
Soon, we always say. When he is a bit older then, we could take more time for us. A new baby coming in August will definitely push that soon even further away.
What to do, eh? I'm checking on the 10 Habits of Happy Couples for tips on keeping that loving feeling in mind while we are elbow deep in soiled diapers, spilled milk and long hours.
