In the Spotlight

18 year-old David Griego's body was recovered 9:30 a.m. Saturday, after he and 19-year old Darren Bucklen sped down the 2-3 feet high ramp that they made. This "jackass" inspired stunt led to his demise. After flying 40 feet from the shore, the car landed on 3 acres of pond that eventually sank to 25 feet of water.
Griego was apparently injured by the stunt since onlookers said that he was struggling to stay afloat and was pulling the other boy down.
Weld County Sheriff's Department is investigating the incident and looking for possible charges.
This is what happens when kids/teenagers forget the thin line between fun and stupidity. We cannot really blame them, when they see stupid stunts like this on television. No wonder this happened.

They have no idea how fragile life is. It's not real to them that they can die. Really is a hard lesson.
