Death of a Child
Parents should never deal with the death of a child. It's against the natural order of things. Unfortunately, it does happen to a few unfortunate ones. Whether through illness, accident or any other cause, the death of child changes the life of the parents and the siblings.

After the shock comes guilt, for some. And then, there's acceptance and then the surviving members slowly put their life back together.

As a parent, I can barely imagine how it must feel. But, I sure can understand that complete recovery is next to impossible to achieve after such tragedy.

Should you know of anyone who may be going through losing a child, help them through their recovery by being there for them. In addition, help them discover The Compassionate Friends to help them find people who could assis in the "positive resolution of grief following the death of a child of any age and to provide information to help others be supportive."

One of my online friends went through the loss of a child. Noemi lost her 6 year old son 6 years ago and she has been very active in helping others cope, as well. Her strength is truly an inspiration which might help those who are going through the loss of a child.
