Diamond Pacifier

Diamond Pacifier

Pacifiers are used to satisfy a baby's urge to suck. It comforts them and, as I have observed from my own experience with my son and pacifiers, it made my parenting life easier in the beginning.

This (see left) kind of pacifier is unbelievable, though. Apparently, it's the newest trend in celebrity gift-giving. *snorts*

This 14K gold and diamond studded pacifier from itsmybinky.com is worth US$17,000. With 278 pave cut diamonds set in a 14K white gold base, this silicon based nipple is actually NOT recommended for actual use. That I can understand. You wouldn't want your baby choking on any one of those diamonds, would you?

I still can't get this type of wastefulness, though. Not even a Trump could justify (at least, in my eyes) this kind of purchase.
