Dumbledore is Gay
J.K. Rowling confirmed that the beloved Howarts School Headmaster Albus Dumbledore is indeed gay.
Rowling confirmed fans' speculation in Carnegie Hall, one of the stops to her "Open Book Tour" in the US. She explained that Dumbledore was "smitten" with the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald and had no relationships with women in the past.
"Falling in love can blind us to an extent," Rowling said of Dumbledore's feelings, adding that Dumbledore was "horribly, terribly let down."
