"Me, too"
"I don't really feel like cooking"
"Wanna go to McDonalds?"
"Sure"It's like a ritual every once in a while. My husband and I have our days when we drag our tired selves, along with our 2-year old, to a fastfood joint.
And some days, while conversing with friends who happen to be parents, we give each other guilty looks and shut our mouths. This happens whenever the conversation sometimes include, "oh my god, I do not let my kids eat junk food!"
Uh-oh! Are we bad parents? Are you like us?
Apparently, there are actually ways to eat at a fastfood, minus the guilt. Parenting has prepared a great chart as a guide in making healthy-choices.
Fastfood Without the Guilt lists choices -- not bad, even better, save for splurge, quick tip -- for McDonalds, Burger King, Subway, Wendy's, KFC, Arby's, Taco bell and Pizza Hut.
We've printed one out for the car, in preparation for our next I-had-a-bad-day days. Go on, do it!
