Father tosses 10 month-old baby out the window
A 10 month-old baby survived an eight-story plunge, when her father tossed her from his mother-in-law's apartment in Shanghai. Luckily, the fall was "slowed by tree branches and she landed on soft soil" and survived with just a broken leg.
The father, 26 year-old Security guard Yu Dongrui was evidently drunk and was fighting with his mother-in-law prior to the fall. The row between the two started when the mother-in-law said that she will no longer take care of the girl and that he was no longer welcome in her home. Yu's wife asked for a divorce earlier this year and had moved to another city.
Yu claimed that the girl slipped from his arms while they were playing.
