Flu Shots Too Late
Since the little man goes to kindergarten and we have a 2-month old baby in the house, my husband and I made sure that we were the first in line as soon as the second batch (the first one was reserved for high-risk patients) of flu shots were made available. A week before our appointment with the physician, as dictated by Murphy's Law, the little man brought home some kindergarten surprise.
Suffice it to say, we were all down with flu a few days before our scheduled flu shot.
The little man got lucky, though. When it was time for trick-or-treating, we were all fully recovered.
Murphy's law, however, prevailed once again…
A day later and both the little man and I now have conjuntivitis. Perfect!
