Kids Say the Darndest Things aimed to show the cute innocence of children.
When I first saw that show, I laughed. Although I also found myself disbelieving some segments of the show. I thought that some of the kids were coached in order to get laughs from adults.
However, now that I am a parent, I realize that kids really do say the darndest things. And here are just a few mom bloggers who shared what their kids had to say:
Rockstar Mommy's final nail in her white trash coffin:
Lil Miss: "Mommy, I have to blow my nose."
RM: "Okay, let me get a tissue."
Lil Miss: "No, I like your sleeve better."
The Momster loves being a mom:
"Will, pick up your toys, turn off the television and please, put your pants on!"
"yes, your majesty!"
Check out Ayaba of Brain Droppings for one example on Why Parents Go Gray.
Kat of Mènage à Kat tells us that there's a 3-year old in every man. Hilarious!
Ruth's son asks, "mama, why do girls have buttocks on the front, too?"
What about your child? What is the craziest/funniest thing your child has ever said?
