Furnishing Your House

With two very active toddlers, I am positive that I will get an A in Childproofing Your Home 101. Apart from making sure that our new home will be child-friendly and relatively accident free, I am also set on making sure that it does not look like a kindergarten.
It would still be a house which the kids will have fun in but that does not mean that we will sacrifice the aesthetics. I am even bent on making the whole interiors look like something out of a magazine. Wish me luck!
Since my background is in Architecture, I am trying to put all my practical knowhow into paper. I am also trying to get my inner Martha Stewart out. And apart from that, I have been religiously checking magazines in every waiting room I go to for some fresh ideas. And yup, my search in the world wide web has also been very fruitful.
Should you be taking the same patch soon, here are two websites which could help you start:
Apartment Therapy | Saving the World One Room at a Time
You can ask questions and check out other people's homes. Their selection is gorgeous!
Virtual Room Creator from Huggies
It's the autocadd for beginners
It let's you plan out your room without having to move your furniture around over and over again.
