Going Diaper-free

When is the right time to potty train kids? My son recently turned 4 and we're still working on him. He already knows how to pee on his own, although he still needs help when he does #2. Some people are shocked that he's still not potty trained until now, but then I believe that each kid takes their own time to be ready, otherwise he or she would just regress.
As reported, "babies are born with an instinctive ability to signal when they need to go to the bathroom." A diaper-free movement was founded based on this belief. Formally called Elimination Communication, babies are believed to be aware of their elimination needs and could communicate this vocally and physically. This philosophy should be started from infancy, should be gentle, non-coercive and based on the babies' interest and needs, and can be applied on toilet training.
Although I think that it's a long shot to actually start potty training your kid from birth on. But if you have the patience and the time to do it, then why not. This would definitely do your budget good.
