Graco Product Recall

Recently, Graco and the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission have voluntarily recalled Graco Strollers sold between 1994 and 2002.

Graco Duo Tandem Strollers and Graco MetroLite Strollers could "fail to latch properly and unexpectedly collapse while in use. This can result in broken bones, cuts, bumps, bruises and other injuries to young children riding in the stroller and consumers pushing the stroller".

Consumers are advised to cease using these strollers immediately and to contact Graco. Graco will provide a free repair kit which includes a custom-designed latch that consumers should attach to the stroller's frame to ensure it is properly latched.

For safety reasons, it is best to stay on top of what's safe and which products are being recalled, especially for our kids.

It seems like there is a new product recall everyday. I am especially concerned about all the recalls on children’s toys and household products. I set up a personal file that alerts me to all product recalls and it sends me a timely notice when one of my products has been recalled.
