Guilty of infant murder
I was appalled to read that a 6-week-old infant died due to a diet made mostly of soy milk and apple juice. I can understand that we all should be conscious of our health and maintain healthy diets, but feeding your new born with mainly just soy milk and apple juice is just foolish.
As reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution last Wednesday. Vegan parents Jade Sanders, 27 and Lamont Thomas, 31, were both found guilty of starving their 6-week-old infant Crown. After a 7 hour deliberation by the Fulton County jury, the vegan parents were found guilty of malice murder, felony and cruelty to children, automatically granting them a life sentence.
The 6-week-old infant, born at home home, weighed 3 ½ pounds, had a diet largely consisting of soy milk and apple juice. The couple had no idea that their baby was in danger, only until minutes before he died.
