Summer Shot Round-Up program in Austin, Texas is now on it's second year.




Summer Shot Round-Up is a community-sponsored program that allows kids to be immunized at no cost. It began yesterday at Johnston High School and was conducted by AISD officials in collaboration with AISD School Health Services, the Austin Fire Department, St. David's HealthCare Partnership, SETON Healthcare network and the Texas Department of Health.

A great way to ensure that all students are immunized when they go back to school in August.

Let's all hope that the organizers and sponsors would continue holding this program, every year. Come to think of it, let's hope that other communities would follow suit.
