Health
by Melissa Petri on September 15, 2005

As a teen-ager, I did everything my heart desired with nary a thought of the consequences. And that included doing something (nope, no drugs, smoking nor alcohol) which affected my health. I was even hospitalised twice, due to my stupidity and my audacity. I was young hence, full of life and always healthy. 'Only old people get sick' was one of my mantras. In my youth, the answers were simpler.
Now, the arrogance of youth has been replaced with humility. Having a child forced me to alter my perspectives. I have social responsibilities. I want and need to be there for my child, more than anything else.
Should you have any health concerns, go to a doctor immediately or, for starters, head on out to Parents.com's All About Healthy Parents.
"One of the most important things you can do for your children is to be healthy yourself." I agree. Don't you?

If you don't have healthy parents you are at risk that's clearly. Some diseases like diabites is hereditary thus inherited from parents or the risk of appearing being very high.

It's good that you avoided alcohol and any other kind of drug.
