Help Urge Hospitals to Give Breastfeeding Friendly Discharge Bags to New Moms
I'm reposting this entry from the Next Nine Months as I know that many mothers reading this blog are also proactive supporters of breastfeeding. A few months ago, about 200 hospitals across the country started giving new mothers discharge bags called Healthy Baby Bounty Bags that contained breastfeeding-friendly products instead of formula milk.

Now, you can help more hospitals join this campaign. ByMomsForMoms (sponsored by Lansinoh) has created a letter you can download, date, sign, and send to your local hospital. The letter answers questions such as what the Healthy Baby Bounty Bag is, its significance to mothers and babies, and most importantly, how your hospital can get it. You can download the letter here.
