It is normal for toddlers to have fears. It is part of their development, even if it seems irrational. One of the most common is the fear of bathing. This needs more attention since you cannot really let your toddler go without a bath for a long time.

As soon as I have informed my son that we need to take a bath, I would immediately follow it up with a, "look for the toys which you might want to take with you while we take a bath". This would, somehow, distract him and his fears. I also make sure that I (or his father) do take a bath with him to ease his fears.

There are days when it seems easy and then, there are days when he would be screaming bloody murder.

To date, I have yet to give up looking for more useful distractions to help him overcome his fear. One good find for today, thanks to Baby Chic 101, is the Flo.
