Toys are no longer "special" when it comes to product recalls. Now, even children's vaccines are being recalled.
More than a million vaccines of Hib and combination vaccines Hib and Hepa B are being recalled due to contamination risks. Merck & Co. voluntarily announced the recall after a sterilization problem in their Pennsylvania factory was found.
Although it is not a health threat in the short run, the risk of developing an infection is still possible, if and when a child's vaccine shot is contaminated.
Parents are advised to contact their pediatricians incase your child is one of the unlucky one's who have received contaminated shots.

I am so glad they took the precaution of recalling the vaccine. It surely must have been costly, but worth it not to take the risk of hurting anyone.
