Fun for the kids
by Melissa Petri on October 15, 2006

High in the Clouds tells the story of Wirral, a squirrel who was forced to leave his home after it was destroyed by the expansion plans of the evil Gretsch. His initial plan of finding the fabled land of Animalia turned into a quest to save all enslaved animals.
I purchased one for my son yesterday. We read it at bedtime and he liked it. At 3, I do not think he really understood the story but, he was nonetheless entertained. I am sure that later, as we read it again and again, he will love come to understand it and love the story even more.

I remember the first time I bought tickets to see the Beatles. I was so young it seems ages have past. This is one book I am going to have my kids read.
