Holiday Flu
My 3-year old son was one of those unlucky souls who contracted flu during the holidays. He welcomed the new year with a temperature of 102°. Despite this, he insisted on taking part in the celebration. He gamely stood on the side, tightly wrapped and in his father's arms to watch the fireworks display which was organized by our city.

Before the eve, my husband and I took turns in taking care of our sick child, the baby and preparing our midnight fare for the whole family.

When our visitors arrived, it was also difficult to restrain our sick child who, with his temporary bursts of energy, wanted to spread the good cheer and play with our little visitors.

Thank God, he is now on his way to recovery.

How about YOU? How was your new year's celebration?
