If you are thinking of adopting a child

As defined by the online dictionary, "Adoption is the legal proceeding that creates a parent-child relation between persons not related by blood; the adopted child is entitled to all privileges belonging to a natural child of the adoptive parents (including the right to inherit)."

If you are thinking of adopting a child, think long and hard first. It's way more than being able to provide financial support. You need to reflect and find out if you can honestly love and raise someone else's biological child as your own because, just like all the other kids, children who are in Foster care need the nurturing and support that a permanent family can provide.
