I guess when a person cannot weasel his or her way out of a difficult situation, then he or she can always blame the devil for their doings.

Just like what the mother of the infant said, when she blamed Satan and not her husband, for putting their infant daughter inside the microwave. Apparently, the devil did not approve of her husband becoming a preacher /:)

A 19 year-old father of a 2 month-old girl was indicted for child injury charges when he placed his daughter on May 10 inside a motel microwave. Baby Ana Marie, who is now under the custody of the Child Protective Services suffered burns on the left side of her face and her left had, after her father, Joshua Royce Mauldin, placed her inside a microwave for 10 - 20 seconds.

Apparently, the father thought that putting his daughter inside the microwave would relieve his stress. He then called 911 and reported that he inadvertently spilled hot water on her daughter when he was making a pot of coffee. Investigators later decided that his story was inconsistent with the injury of the baby.

Maybe it would've been better if he squeezed himself inside the microwave to release his stress and not his daughter.
