Lakshmi, the girl born with 8 limbs finally went to surgery yesterday. A team of doctors will try to remove her "parasitic" twin from her body. Several obstacles await the doctors since she has two spines, four kidneys, entangled nerves, two stomach cavities and two chest cavities.
The girl is named after the 4-armed Hindu goddess of wealth.
