Lessons in Perspective
This past weekend, my son and I watched the movie Horton Hears A Who on cable TV.

We had a blast with the said movie and I highly recommend it as a family-entertainment-cum-bonding movie. The movie's storyline is based on a children's book story by Dr Seuss'.
Here are the lines that stuck with me and explained to my 6-year-old son about:
Said by Mayor of WhoVille:
What if our world is a speck sitting on a flower? And a big elephant is holding it?
Said by the elephant Horton:
What if they're not small? We are just…B-I-G?
Indeed each one of us is just a dot in this big big world and maybe a thrillionth of a dot in this vast universe.
If each person will see himself/herself as just a dot in the universe (or that there's something bigger and all-powerful than you are), then maybe there will be no conflicts in the world.
