Marijuana found in Happy Meal
This is a Happy Meal that left the parents of an 8 year-old far from happy.
Keith Irelan and his 3 children got the "Happy Meals" of their lives when they went through the McDonald's drive-thru in Ottawa, Illinois. Instead of receiving Happy Meals with burgers, fries and a complementary toy, Irelan's 8 year-old daughter instead received a lighter, a pipe and a bag of marijuana.
McDonald's owners apologized and cooperated with the investigation that led them to arrest a crew of the fast food chain. The culprit, Brandon Scott, a 17 year-old crew and a native of Ottawa, stashed his items in the empty happy meal box with the intent of hiding it. He was then fired from his job, arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
I remember reading just like a week ago, that a kid in New Zealand actually found a condom in his Happy Meal. I guess McDonald's should start strictly monitoring their Happy Meals if they want to keep their customers happy.

I am from Ottawa, Illinois, and I know Brandon Scott. One of my kids goes to school with him, also. He is a nice kid and made a dumb mistake. I also know his mother and I know she laid the law down on him for this!
