Mattel to announce recall of another toy

Two weeks after recalling dora the explorer and other Fisher-Price toys, toymaker Mattel Inc. is reportedly set to recall another set of toys believed to contain excessive amounts of lead.
Although details of the recall are not yet available, the toys were said to be manufactured by another Chinese vendor and not Lee Der Industrial Inc., which was the manufacturer the toys recalled last August 1.
It's alarming that this is already the 4th toy this year to be recalled. As a parent, it makes you wonder just how safe the toys that we buy are. Although not all manufacturers are guilty of the same offense/mistake, it makes you want to reconsider buying those shiny and colorful toys that you see in stores. It might be a better idea to try out organic toys, even though some are quite expensive.
