Breast Cancer Awareness Month is intended to educate women about early breast cancer detection, diagnosis and treatment. Women are encouraged to take charge of their own breast health -- whether by regular self-examination and/or annual Mammography screening.
BBC has Sandie's story. She's a mother of four and was diagnosed with breast cancer in her early 30s. Proof that it could happen to anyone.
Do it for yourself... do it for your kids.
You can also do it for other women by participation in the annual Boobie-thon.
