Of Kindergartens, Spring Cleaning and Full Color Brochures

My youngest child will attend kindergarten soon, and though I do feel some anxiety, I can't deny how much I'm looking forward to having a bit more "me" time again.
Actually, it's not so much as having time for myself, really, but just having the chance to do tasks alone. Perhaps I can finally launch a major spring cleaning and give the entire house a much needed clean-up without the "help" from my well-meaning daughter. Perhaps I can finally organize our bills, receipts, school memos and documents (has anyone tried the Freedom Filer? A friend swears by it, but it does cost a bit of initial cash outlay…). Perhaps I can finally sort out the mail and shred those brochure flyers I really shouldn't have kept in the first place. Really, if not for the full color flyer printing the companies use these days, those flyers would probably have gone from the mailbox straight to the bin anyway. Oh and yes, maybe finally, I can finally have the time to browse the supermarket shelves, rather than the usual frantic adrenaline- and impatient-toddler-powered dash I've always been doing. Just the thought that I can do the grocery without a toddler in tow makes me insanely excited!
Pathetic, I know, but gee, I am so looking forward to the first day of school and all the things I can do while she's in school. To think, my kid is just going for half days, twice a week. Am I being overly optimistic?

That is definitely not being overly optimistic, it is great to have some spare minutes in your day! My daughter started back school recently and it has been a relief to focus on work during this hectic time (The Super Bowl! Yikes!). I work with cars.com and they are airing their new commercial during the Super Bowl on Sunday. I got a chance to check out the commercial while my daughter was at school and it is so cute! If you’d like to check it out, here’s the link – http://www.viddler.com/explore/nkraft/videos/1/ . It reminds me of my daughter
