Outdoor Fall Activities
My husband and I took advantage of the beautiful, sunny Autumn weather today. Instead of heading out to the mall, we walked out to the fields near the park and taught our first-born how to fly a kite.
Our planned outdoor activity turned into an afternoon of fun that included more than just flying a kite.
The beautiful foliage provided us a wonderful backdrop. Fallen leaves and sticks were my son's playthings. The sun rejuvenated us. And the wind made it possible for all of us to fly our colorful kites. It was a great day.
Before the winter chill sets in, it's best to take advantage of the crips Fall weather and let our children have fun outside.
