Of all blogs focused on parenting, I have 2 that tops my list.
MOMster in Paris. A very personal journal of a mother of twins. I could feel the whole gamut of emotions she goes through whenever I read her blog. Very honest and heartbreaking, at times. The layout is simple (if I am not mistaken, it's one of squarespace's default layout) and personalised with a cute picture of her sons with the Eiffel Tower in the background. Truly a good read. I just hope that she updates more often.
Daddytypes.com, a weblog for new dads. It's a bit like going into the minds of dads. Truly an interesting read. Oh yea, I love one of their link categories "recommended, if you're a girl" hahaha. The layout is very simple; it doesn't distract you from reading.

Loved your Blog Crush idea. I'm just new to the Blogging world, and it's a great start.
