I can still remember when I first became a mother. I had several doubts about my ability to cope. I read everything I could, listened to so many advices and hoped for the best. I am already on my way to being a mother again and yet, I still do not know. I am winging it. And guess what... it seems to be working.
My firstborn does not seem to show any signs of being mishandle. He's a well-adjusted child who is constantly happy.
I definitely was, even in the beginning, ready to be a mom. I am doing the best that I can. Making decisions that seem to fit our family the best. And, years later, I still have yet to stop from getting my hands on more information which could help me "wing it". What about you?
If your thirst to learn more still has yet to be quenched, here are couple more sites which might be a good resource -- whether for information to help or for entertainment purposes:

On Raising a Mommy is yet another good read. It is yet another "insightful peek at the journey and (mis)adventures of a well-intentioned Mom who wants the best for her 3-year-old daughter- and that includes becoming the best mother, person, and woman possible."
Parent Cheats is a 'cheat' handbook for unconventional parents that will help you stay sane and still raise happy, healthy, well-adjusted kids. A fun read!
Which parenting site do you frequent? Do you have any recommendations for me and our readers?
