Pediatrician

Even before my son was born, I already knew which pediatrician I would choose. He lived relatively near our place, he spoke english, his schedule is flexible and he came highly recommended.
After the first visit with my then-newborn son, I knew that we were there to stay. Not only did he handle my son well, he also knew how to handle anxious parents. It has been 3 years and I am still very happy with my choice.
Choosing the right pediatrician is very important.
Should you be needing the services of one soon, you might want to consider the following points: his office, staff, attitude, office hours, availability during emergencies, his training & credentials, etc.
If you, like me, are very happy with your choice of pediatrician, you might want to consider nominating your baby's doctor for the 2006 Local Heroes Award, presented to individuals who epitomizes the "community pediatrician" over at the American Academy of Pediatrics.
