Personalizing your Baby Gift
Filed in archive Shopping by Melissa Petri on January 30, 2006
This can be done in many ways, such as embroidering the baby's name and date of birth on quilts, blankets, pillows and clothing, or engraving similar words on toys, frames and other ornamental gifts. Although the baby will not be using some gifts (such as engraved spoons, frames, piggy banks etc.) any time soon, they still make memorable keepsakes. A favorite choice of mine is available at Red Envelope. This is a deluxe baby keepsake kit that captures the baby's hand or footprints on soft, non-toxic clay in a beautiful frame. Other options? Tiffany and Co's personalized sterling silver rattles or spoons are pricey but precious little keepsakes to give and receive. Buying special baby gifts might seem hard at first but with some adorable options out there, you'll definitely find something that both the mom and the baby (eventually!) will appreciate. Just make sure you personalize it and your gift will be treasured for years to come.
