In a bid to break gender barriers, Mattel puts girls in the driver's seat.
Owner of Matchbox and maker of Hot Wheels, Mattel is introducing cars to girls via Polly Wheels. Polly Wheels are cars driven by Polly Pocket dolls.
Candy colored Polly Wheelsâ„¢ are the first-ever die-cast vehicles designed for girls. Each car will, of course, include a mini-sized doll.
IMHO, toys need not be gender-specific. I like the direction that Mattel is taking.
