Post-Partum Weight Loss

But rather than check my weight obsessively, what I do is check if I can fit into my old pants. It has been a couple of months after having given birth and I am proud to say that I can already wear my old pants. It's still a bit tight on the waist, though.
What have I been doing to reach my goal, you may ask.
Well, definitely none of those things which makes it possible for some celebrities to lose weight
overnight. I watch what I eat. Normally, I try to eat healthy and avoid food that are full of calories but without any nutritional value. From time to time, though, I reward myself with a bar of chocolate. I do not plan on going on a diet because I breastfeed. I'd rather increase my physical activity.
I follow a light exercise program. I take 30-minute brisk walks daily while pushing my baby's stroller. After this, I take a slower pace and walk for 30-minutes more. A great thing to do in autumn. Cool and fresh air does wonders for my baby's mood.
I breastfeed. Note, though, that my main reason for doing so is for my child. It's just an added bonus that breastfeeding mothers tend to lose more weight than those who feed their children formula.
And according to this postpartum weight loss calculator, in order to lose weight, I should not eat more than 2036 calories per day. I hope I can manage that.
What about YOU? What have you been doing? Do you have any other tips for us?
