Practice Braxton Hicks Contraction
As I start the second day of my maternity leave, I was left with no choice but to lay in bed. Something hurts. And I didn't know what.

I thought it was something I ate. But, it wasn't.

At 35 weeks, I thought that it could be "THE" contractions that I have been waiting for. Why? Because it sure did hurt and that was what I remembered from the last time I gave birth. But, I checked my bible and realized that all I was experiencing were practice Braxton Hicks Contractions.

To ease my painlinks, I did the following:

  • I changed my position. The few times when the pain did not ease up, I got up to walk around a bit.

  • I took a bath and relaxed. It was a welcome "break" since the summer temperature was too warm for my pregnant body.

  • I drank a lot of water.

And now, here I am, blogging. Those simple things adviced by my bible and by babycenter sure did help me a lot.
