The number of single moms is on the rise. Teenage pregnancy rates have, thank God, fallen while pregnancy of those in their thirties and forties have risen. More and more women have chosen to quit smoking during their pregnancies thus, improving their healthy habits and ensuring what is best for their yet to be born babies. The services of doulas are more popular now. Multiple birth rates have increased.
Those are just a few of the pregnancy trends in the United States, as reported by Lalaena Gonzalez-Figueroa over at Baby Zone.
Whether you are expecting a child, planning to conceive or just plain curious, check out BabyZone for data which may (or may not) be helpful. At least, you'd get an idea of the mindset of most women in the United States and see whether you belong to the vast majority.
Trivial knowledge which could prove to be useful ;-)
